Compliance Analyst

We're looking for analytical and passionate people to join our proven team as a Compliance Analyst based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

  • You will work with a diverse team of former investment bankers, strategy consultants and business owners in developing, monitoring, and improving products and processes to facilitate the activity of private investing

Job purpose
Working directly with the Head of Growth and the Management Team, you will
  • Conduct Know-your-Customer (KYC) check procedures, and maintain periodic KYC review 
  • ~~Make justifications of true-hit or false-hit over identity screening activities
  • ~~Maintain proper records by tracking all KYC activities conducted while ensuring KYC reviews are completed
  • ~~Other necessary Anti-Money Laundering / Compliance duties
  • Conduct Investor Verification on the current database of investors
  • ~~Independent research online for Institutional Investors 
  • ~~Ongoing Investor Onboarding onto Fundnel’s platform
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of post transaction support services, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions
  • Streamline processes across all supporting business functions, toward resource optimisation and cost efficiency
  • Plays a significant role in long-term planning, including the overarching initiative to gear towards operational excellence
  • Performs other ad-hoc compliance duties and projects as required
  • Ensures all processes are performed with strict adherence and within acceptable turnaround times
  • Assists in establishing, maintaining, and improving operating systems, processes, and policies
  • Any general administration, accounting and ancillary activities required and related to all above functions in accordance with the business requirements of the employer
You’ll be a great fit for us if you
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a compliance role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; able to manage and meet multiple deadlines
  • Fast learner, organized, meticulous, and highly detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to pick up new technology quickly
  • Relevant degree from a recognized university
  • Good command of English
