Senior HR Manager

We are looking for a talented and dynamic Senior HR Manager to drive our HR functions across all our offices.

  • We are disrupting the traditional fundraising process for private businesses and investors.
  • You will work with a diverse team of former investment bankers, strategy consultants and technologists in developing innovative funding and growth strategies for our users.
  • Everything we do is focused on helping businesses and investors find their best match, from institutional investors all the way down to retail. 

Job purpose
Roles and responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of HR professionals to plan and implement HR programs for our offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and India
  • Leads the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce, leveraging on both inbound and outbound strategies
  • Design, drive, and maintain HR policies and procedures (i.e. performance management, compensation and annual reviews, employee relations, company handbook and policies, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with local policies and labor laws
  • Represent HR for audits, inspections, and due diligence
  • Continually improve employment branding to create a compelling reason for candidates to choose Fundnel
  • Develop an employee-oriented company culture that emphasises quality, continuous improvement, and high performance
  • Manage staff training/development program

Skills and experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in HR functions
  • Deep understanding of how to run a high-quality, full-cycle recruiting process
  • Proven experience with people operations, performance management, learning & development, employee engagement and compensation and benefits
  • Excellent people-management skills: a demonstrated ability to set results-based expectations and guide skills development and career paths
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and quality of work
  • Talent for creating, documenting, and running efficient processes
  • Experience with managing HR operations in multiple countries, in particular the countries where Fundnel has offices, is preferred
  • Prior experience in a start-up environment is preferred
