Roles & Responsibilities

  • Set objectives for the HR department and track progress
  • Monitor internal HR systems and databases
  • Design and implement company policies
  • Monitor key HR metrics
  • Oversee all HR administrative matters (i.e. employment passes, benefits, payroll, rewards, vendor agreements, employee work trip and leave management)
  • Ensure team cohesion and maintain a positive overall work environment
  • Act as a consultant to managers and staff regarding policies and procedures
  • Address employees’ queries (e.g. on compensation and labor regulations)
  • Employee Relations: point person for all staff regarding HR matters
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment of new employees, including placing advertisements, developing contacts with recruiting sources, interviewing, consulting with internal hiring managers and managing orientation and onboarding process
  • Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate
  • Manage staff training/development program
  • Maintain all personnel files
  • Oversee performance evaluation procedures
  • Act as back-up to Staff Accountant for payroll processing
  • Play a supporting role in maintaining, and improve operating systems, processes and policies, specifically:
    • Support better management reporting through regular operations updates to management team
    • Strategise information flow management between various business units
    • Refine business process and organisational planning together with key stakeholders
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including the overarching initiative to gear towards operational excellence

Skills & Experience Required

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Team player
  • Fast learner, organised and independent individual with good analytical skills and meticulous in work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • A sense of ownership and take on responsibilities and challenges, thrive on logic, accept and create changes with flexibility
  • Some experience in the finance industry
